Through the Governor’s Fellows Program in Louisiana Government, college and university students from across the state can step beyond the classroom and directly engage with public policy right at the source. Anchored academically by the LSU Department of Public Administration, the competitive summer initiative immerses students in the day-to-day operations of state leadership while earning three hours of academic credit.
LSU is pleased to announce this year's lists of the LSU100 and LSU ROARING20, recognizing the 100 fastest-growing and 20 highest revenue-generating LSU graduate-owned or LSU graduate-led businesses worldwide, respectively.
The Louisiana Economy Forecasting Model, maintained by the Department of Economics, provides economic forecasts for Louisiana and the state’s nine metropolitan areas for the current quarter and three quarters ahead. The forecasts for the third quarter of 2026 through the second quarter of 2027 suggest continuing growth in state employment, and slightly stronger growth in GSP.
