In January 2026, the College of Humanities & Social Sciences Humanities Center (HSSHC) opened a brick-and-mortar location at W151 Howe Russell. This newly renovated,
versatile space hosts HSSHC programming and events, including our Graduate Course-Based
Mini-Residencies lectures and events, our workshop meetings, the Faculty Drop-In Writing
Space, graduate student events, the HSSHC Book Institute, and more.
This space is dedicated to HSSHC activities, and to events co-sponsored by the HSSHC.
If you would like to request use of our W151 Howe Russell space, you can apply for
HSSHC co-sponsorship of your event. The HSSHC co-sponsors events that advance our
dual mission of (1) fostering innovative conversations across human-centered disciplines,
and (2) supporting the professional development of HSS scholars at any career stage
(from undergraduates to graduate students to faculty).
To apply for HSSHC co-sponsorship of your event in the form of this room’s use, please
complete the form below. There is no charge for using the room for HSSHC co-sponsored
events.
