The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) under the LSU Office of Institutional Advancement facilitates university-wide partnerships with corporations and private foundations in all areas that add value to these organizations and the flagship university in terms of recruiting, research, education, outreach, employee training, environmental action, and marketing.
Supporting Corporations and Foundations
We invite the corporate and foundation community to partner with LSU, a Tier 1 university (U.S. News and World Report, 2008). Involvement with LSU allows corporate and foundation partners to gain visibility as an employer of choice, community citizen, and important benefactor. Our partners have the opportunity to interact with LSU’s world-class faculty and outstanding students as they prepare to accept the leadership reins of tomorrow's business and civic world. CFR collaborates with many LSU academic and administrative entities to develop and maintain strong relationships with our corporate and foundation partners. Serving as the primary LSU contact and source of information for corporations and foundations, we can assist in streamlining your message to the campus community and subsequently meet your needs in a timely manner.
Supporting LSU Faculty and Staff
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations is organizationally under the LSU Office of Institutional Advancement, directed by Bunnie Cannon, Executive Director. CFR serves as a liaison between LSU academic colleges/departments as well as the LSU Foundation, Alumni Association, and Tiger Athletic Foundation for organizations that have an interest in creating or strengthening their relationship with the university. Faculty and staff members seeking external funding are encouraged to initiate their search by contacting a member of the CFR staff.
